Why is your design suddenly marked as “checking if AI-generated”?
As the use of AI in the design industry continues to grow, we have introduced a new review tool on designenlassen.de. This tool automatically checks all uploaded designs for possible AI-generated content.
Why was this tool introduced?
Recently, we have noticed an increasing number of designers using AI tools to create designs. Since the transfer of usage rights to the client cannot be reliably guaranteed for AI-generated designs, the use of AI is not permitted on designenlassen.de.
How does the review process work?
- Every uploaded design is automatically analyzed by our AI detection tool.
- Once a certain similarity threshold is reached, the design is flagged and placed in the status “Under Review.”
- You can see this status directly in your submitted entries.
What happens during the review?
- All flagged designs are additionally reviewed manually by our team.
- If the suspicion of AI usage is confirmed, the design will be deleted.
- If the review shows that the tool flagged the design incorrectly, it will be approved and made visible in the contest again.
Important note on mockups
The use of mockups can sometimes cause the tool to flag a design incorrectly.
- If a design is flagged as AI-generated only because of a mockup,
but the actual logo was created manually,
it will of course be approved.
To avoid unnecessary delays, we strongly recommend:
- Upload logos in color on a white background only
- Avoid using mockups whenever possible
Consequences of violations
In cases of repeated AI usage, we reserve the right to take further action —
including account suspension.
